Delhi Govt. Revolution

8,000 new classrooms built last year. 10,000 more to be constructed.
 Nursery classes will start in 156 schools.
 Ten early childhood centres to be opened on a pilot basis.

 Rs. 100 crore allocated for 400 new libraries in Delhi Govt schools.
 Banana and boiled egg to be served in mid-day meals.
 1,000 mohalla clinics, and 10,000 additional hospital beds to be provided.
 Rs 100 crore allocated for development of bus terminal and depot.
 5 Km long riverfront along Yamuna to be developed;
 Single window system for film shooting in Delhi, says
 MCDs get Rs 7,571 crore, about 15% of the total budget outlay.
 Tax on air turbine fuel to be reduced to 1% from 25%. Tax reduction aimed to improve connectivity with northeast areas.
 Tax on sanitary napkins costing above Rs 20 to be reduced from 12.5% to 5%.
 Budget for Delhi Commission for Women increased by three times to Rs 120 crore.
